The first time her kids had head lice, she spent $300 on pesticide treatments before the lice were gone.

The first time my child got head lice, I spent almost $300 on Rid and Nix before we finally got rid of them. I hated putting all that poison on my daughters' head and spraying the pyrethrin spray on the furniture and pillows. I spent hours and hours inspecting her head and combing out nits and more hours vacuuming and washing bedding, clothing, hats and jackets. My little girl was only 3 and had long hair. I had to take her out in the sunlight and comb for two hours straight to get all the
nits out.

When we got head lice again a year later-this time from a cousin-I used an herbal lice treatment that had a very strong smell and was very oily. We had to put it on our hair at night and leave it on till morning. Then I had to wash all the pillow cases and bedding and still the odor was everywhere. Because it didn't kill the nits, I still had to do all that inspecting and combing and reapply another two or three times.

Luckily, we haven't encountered lice like this again. But we haven't forgotten! My daughter came home from school last Friday and told me her head itched. I wanted to use Licenex "just in case." I brought a bottle home from work. It feels really good to know we can avoid lice infestations and it was great to not even have to take a look at her head-I knew Licenex would kill any lice, even if there was just one, and I didn't have to worry. I had watched the insect exoskeletons melt in a live product demonstration some time ago.

You see, I am not only a satisfied customer, I am also an employee!
